Primary Focus

When a baby is boon, a mother is too. I believe women are designed to birth and nourish their babies and deserve to walk this path with guidance and loving, knowledgeable support of other women. As a doula and midwife I strongly believe that knowledge is power and educate my clients about their options so that they can make truly informed choices. I respect all choices equally and empower the women throughout their pregnancy, birth and postpartum. As a twin mother myself I offer special support to parents expecting multiples, it‘s a wild ride and requires preparation and additional support. I lay a special emphasis on postpartum preparation and care as it is often not the focus in childbirth preparation classes. Birth might last a couple hours to days but postpartum will last for months if not years! Nurtured beginnings, that‘s what I stand for. Inviting you to embark on this pivotal, life altering journey with me!

About Me

Originally, I received my Bachelor‘s degree in Midwifery in Switzerland, where I am from. I practiced as a midwife and the labor&delivery and postnatal wards of a antroposophic, natural-minded hospital as well as in a university clinic for 5 years. After making Aliyah to Israel 3 years ago, I trained as a doula. Today I offer my support as a doula with the in-depth knowledge and experience of a midwife.

My Unique Approach

My approach combines the attitude of knowledge is power with a very holistic, natural-minded outlook on birth and postpartum. Special emphasis is layed onto the postpartum period which is often overlooked but so crucial for a soft landing in motherhood. Another aspect of my practice is supporting parents expecting twins and other multiples (as a twin mother myself).
